Journal Sponsorship and Financial Support Policy

1. Publisher and Financial Support

Penelitian Gizi dan Makanan (The Journal of Nutrition and Food Research) is managed and published by the Indonesian Nutrition Association (Persatuan Ahli Gizi Indonesia, PERSAGI).

PERSAGI provides full technical and financial support for the journal's publishing operations, including the resources required to manage and publish scholarly content.

The journal does not receive financial support from external sponsors. Its publishing activities are supported by PERSAGI, which assumes responsibility for the technical and financial costs of publication.

2. Sponsorship and External Funding

The journal does not engage external sponsors to finance its publishing activities. No external organization or commercial entity is authorized to influence the journal's editorial policies, manuscript evaluation, peer-review process, or publication decisions through financial contributions or other forms of support.

Any future changes to the journal's sponsorship or financial-support arrangements will be reflected in this policy to maintain transparency for authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders.

3. Editorial Independence

Although PERSAGI manages, publishes, and financially supports the journal, editorial decisions are made independently on the basis of scientific merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, research integrity, and compliance with the journal's editorial policies.

Financial support from PERSAGI does not confer authority to influence the acceptance, rejection, prioritization, or scientific assessment of individual manuscripts.

The Editor-in-Chief retains responsibility for editorial decisions in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures. The journal is committed to ensuring that organizational, financial, professional, or other interests do not compromise independent editorial judgment.

All manuscripts are subject to the journal's established editorial screening and peer-review procedures, regardless of the authors' institutional affiliations or other organizational relationships.

4. Advertising Policy

Penelitian Gizi dan Makanan does not accept advertisements.

The journal does not generate revenue from commercial advertising and does not permit advertising arrangements to influence its publishing activities or editorial decisions.

This policy supports the journal's commitment to maintaining editorial independence and ensuring that published scholarly content is assessed according to scientific and ethical standards rather than commercial interests.

5. Article Processing Charges

The journal's Article Processing Charge (APC) is governed by its separate Author Fees and Article Processing Charges Policy.

The applicable APC is IDR 500,000 per accepted article, as specified in the journal's APC policy. Information concerning payment procedures, applicable charges, and other relevant conditions is provided transparently through the journal's official website.

Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or influence the outcome of editorial assessment. All manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's established scientific, editorial, and ethical requirements.

6. Transparency and Accountability

The journal is committed to maintaining transparency concerning its publisher, financial support, sponsorship arrangements, advertising practices, and author publication charges.

PERSAGI's role as publisher and financial supporter is intended to sustain the journal's scholarly publishing activities without compromising editorial independence or research integrity.
