Gadung diperoleh 6 sampel yaitu 2 sampel dari Kuningan (GPK & GKK), 2 sampel dari Sukabumi (GP1S dan GP2S) dan 2 sampel dari Bogor (GPB dan GKB). Rebung diperoleh 9 sampel yaitu 3 sampel dari Kuningan (RBK, RTK, RHK), 3 sampel dari Sukabumi (RBS, RTmS, RTS) dan 3 sampel dari Bogor (RTB, RAB dan RBB). Biji Karet diperoleh 8 sampel yaitu 3 sampel dari Bogor (GT1B, LCB 1320 B, WRB), 2 sampel dari Kuningan (LCB479K, PR300 K) dan 3 sampel dari Sukabumi (GT1S, PR303S, PR300S). Hasil pengujian garam iodium menggunakan singkong menunjukkan tidak terlihat adanya pengaruh kadar air, HCN dan amilosa singkong terhadap intensitas warna yang timbul pada tiap konsentrasi garam. Begitu pula hasil pengujian menggunakan gadung, rebung atau biji karet, menunjukkan tidak adanya pengaruh kadar air, HCN atau amilosa terhadap intensitas warna yang timbul pada tiap konsentrasi garam. Singkong, gadung, rebung dan biji karet dapat digunakan untuk memperoleh gambaran apakah suatu garam beriodium yang beredar memenuhi syarat iodisasi atau tldak.
